Print Project

Step 1

MEASUREMENTS: 44" x 50" [112 cm x 127 cm]
GAUGES: Bernat® Bounce Back™: 14 sts and 20 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st with smaller needles
Bernat® Sheepy™: 9 sts and 10 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st with larger needles. Take time to check your gauge.

Step 2

INSTRUCTIONS:
FRONT
With A and smaller needle, cast on 154 stitches (sts). Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
**Beg on a knit row, work in stocking st [knit rs rows and purl ws rows] until piece from beg measures 50" [127 cm], ending on a purl row. Cast off knitwise.**
BACK
With B and larger needles, cast on 99 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, work from ** to ** as given for front.
Finishing
With ws of front and back facing, and using B held double, seam front and back tog using blanket st.
Tassels (Make 4)
Wrap A around 8" [20.5 cm] piece of cardboard 30 times. Tie securely at one end. Cut across other end. Wrap yarn six times around tassel 1½” [4 cm] from tied end. Fasten securely. Sew one tassel to each corner of blanket.
