Better value than most
These canvases are a great value for the money. I've used less expensive canvases and you definitely get what you pay for. They are stretched better and have better support. I'm a beginner and appreciate good quality and a good price with the many practice runs I paint. Michael's usually has a sale on the value packs and I highly recommend stocking up.

Did my first Bob Ross painting on this canvas!!
I wasn't sure how these canvases would hold up to the riggor and painting styles of Bob Ross but I am so happy about how it held up to pushing and scraping by the palette knife! I will definitely be purchasing these again!! The one thing I did not like however, was that on the 18x24 canvas, there is a wood stabilizing bar that runs through the middle. I painted my painting sideways and had a rough time trying to hang a wet painting on the wall to dry because the bar was smack in the middle and I had to try to use 2 nails on either side of the bar. Anyway, I did not get it hung up and am still waiting for the painting to dry to hang it. This might not be a problem if you painted long ways and not landscape.
