The product is defective
The memory wire shears failed the very first time I tried to use them. They simply bent the wire, scratched the wire surface up, and the edge of the shears now has a notch in it. Will be returning the product to Michael’s store today. A friend in my craft club gave me a spare pair of her memory wire shears to use until I buy the brand sHe has - and they work great.
