First, click here to download and print the folding diagram. |
| Step 2 |
Cut two pieces of construction paper 1" x 12" [2.5 cm x 30.5 cm]. |
| Step 3 |
Follow the folding diagram to fold your two strips into the candle. Fold A over B, then B over A, then A over B and so on until you come to the end of the strips. Glue to bottom of the strips as shown in the diagram. |
| Step 4 |
Cut out the template for the flame, then trace around it onto yellow or orange construction paper. |
| Step 5 |
Fold the bottom of the flame and glue onto the top of the candle. |
| Step 6 |
Glue a sparkly sequin to the flame and let dry. |
