| Step 1 |
First, click here to download and print the template; then cut out the hat pattern. |
| Step 2 |
Trace the hat onto red construction paper and cut out. Set aside. |
| Step 3 |
Measure 1½" [3.8 cm] down from one end of a jumbo craft stick and make a mark. Paint the remaining 4½" [10.2 cm] of the craft stick with red craft paint. Let dry. |
| Step 4 |
Glue the paper hat to the top of the craft stick. Glue a white pom-pom to the tip at the top of the hat. Glue three white pom-poms in place for his beard. Glue two wiggle eyes above the beard. Let dry. |
| Step 5 |
Draw a belt and two buttons on the red-painted portion of the craft stick below the beard, using a black marker. |
